Payment for Ecosystem Services Trust
To this end, we will establish a system of Payments for Ecosystem Services aimed at those who meet a series of criteria and guarantee their commitment to maintaining forest cover by implementing good production practices.
Proposal
We propose the establishment of a Fund for the restoration and conservation of ecosystems broken down into the following components:
Restoration program with shade-grown coffee and cocoa:
Land acquisition for restoration
Conservation Payment Program
Transparency and accountability
At the Institute for Biodiversity Conservation and Research, we propose an independent governance structure in which the private sector, NGOs and the state guarantee transparency and accountability in all our activities. This model allows all stakeholders to have visibility over our processes and decision-making, ensuring alignment with sustainability values and goals.
